If you need to be more formal:

"We can say, in passing, that ..." OR
"I would say, in passing, that ..." OR
"One could say, ... "
Obrigada Joao e Henry,

eu traduzi assim:
"Therefore, the service rendering here, carried out by the immigrants, and the selling of money - and we can say, in passing, that they are very competent at it - are what mainly move the economy of the Queen´s island."

Senão, tira o "therefore" daí e coloca um "then".
"Service" está no singular.
E eu colocaria o "by the way" aí, sei lá, nunca usei essa expressão, para mim ficou estranho.
Tirando isso, acho que está correto.
João, mudei:

"So, the service rendering here, carried out by the immigrants, and the selling of money - which by the way, they are very competent at - are what mainly move the economy of the Queen´s island. "

By the way fica melhor mesmo.

Entendi o texto.

Therefore what adds the most movement to the economy of Queen´s Island are the services provided by immigrants and currency transactions, in which, we might add, they are extremely proficient.

Therefore the services offered here by immigrants, including currency transactions -- in which, we might add, they are extremely competent -- are what mostly activates the economy of Queen´s Island.

And, it has to be said, she was very good to him. [Oxford]

Diga-se de passagem: I have to say; it has to be said

Bons estudos. Compartilhe.

- Kudos on getting engaged, she's really pretty, by the way!

"by the way", quando usado mais pro final da frase, seria um equivalente.
Mas by the way tem outro sentido quando usado no começo da frase.
