And one more, car-related word "overhaul/overhauling" and so on. Usually, meaning not only a restoration job, but improvements made by the use of new materials, tweaking some parameters of the car, but not at the expense of its safety.
Something way similar to what happens in the Brazilian TV show "Lata Velha". By the way, might have been inspired by the "overhauling" TV show, anyway beats me which of them is the copy. :-)
In America is common to find "repair and overhauling" garages, to motorbikes or cars.
