That reminded me of the launch of Kia vans in Brazil, they named the car Best A, but the name Besta was the one that caught on.
People in the street would quip that the driver was "a besta" (a stupid guy/a stupid driver, in Brazilian parlance) as well!
People just kidding around; that is, just playing with words. He hee...

In time: it was supposed to mean "Best A", a superlative way to refer to the vehicle.
