Achei "overvalue" no google translator, mas queria saber a opinião de vocês.
"O resultado do teste pode supervalorizar o verdadeiro significado do que é inteligência"

Test/exam scores may be overrated as a means of assessment method, but they might be dumbing down education for the sake of creating something new or not going against the grain with test-makers. Many experts have raised the question if standardized tests measure one´s abilitie
s and intelligence.

The former is a terser version of the second comment. The second one might serve to give some ideas.
Lembrando que "to inflate" também pode significar supervalorizar/sobrevalorizar, no sentido de "tentar mostrar mais do que realmente é (ideias, opiniões, etc)."
