Exercício: Artigos em Inglês

Olá pessoal!
Estou estudando inglês sozinha e ao resolver alguns exercícios sobre Artigos, surgiram várias dúvidas. A gramática que estou utilizando acompanha as respostas, porém para fixar as regras justifico a minha resposta. Contudo, alguns exercícios estão muito confusos para mim.
Poderiam me ajudar please? Se possível, ao responder, peço uma justificativa para que eu posso compreender. Desde já agradeço de coração !

Complete com o artigo adequado (the, a ou an), onde for necessário:

R 1: antes de nomes de países não utiliza artigos. Obs: há exceções.

R 1: usa-se artigo antes de expressões idiomáticas.

You should study by:

(1) Usos do Artigo THE.
(2) Articles with days, months and seasons.
(3) In the bed x In bed.
(4) To work for some company x To work in or at a company.
(5) Definite Article - British Council
(6) The sun or sun? The European Union or European Union?
(7) Definite and Indefinite Articles.
(8) Definite article before "President".
