Ex:
SNEAKERS (tênis)
Flash sale - only this Friday (oferta relâmpago - apenas nesta sexta-feira)
$100 for $90 (de $100 por $90)
10% off (10% de desconto)

Was $100

As RedSea has pointed out, there are several ways to skin that cat. One could hit sales sites to see it at play - it's easier to understand seen than explained in this case.
But, I will explain it anyway.
Basically, there are two ways to express that (I mean, the ones that first springs to one's mind). One can come up with more creative ways, for of course:
Golden Sports knocks $ 1,000 off the price tag. (talking about the value).
Centauro knocks 10% off the price tag.
A magazine/paper insert could come up with something like this:
Special offer 10% off label or price tag.
Shops would just have "10% off" written in a tag, on the shop windows. Dispensing with the "label or price tag" thing, keeping it simple (and short).
The rationale and strategy behind $ Dollars OFF versus X percent OFF.
