Como eu posso expressar essa ideia em Inglês?

Ex: Eu não me meteria nisso se eu fosse você. Eles sempre voltam a ficar juntos e você vai acabar saindo como a errada da história.

If I were you I wouldn´t get involved in this. They get fighting, then they make up and you are the one burned (then you get your fingers burned)!

They get fighting and then making up and you come out as the victim (of that situation) rather than the one trying to solve the problem/trying to help out.
