Como dizer "É um ótimo exemplo de como..." em inglês

Encontrei a seguinte frase em um review de um livro na Amazon: Tim Grahl’s book “Running Down a Dream” is a great example of everything is not as it seems.

O correto nessa frase não seria ter usado a palavra "how" antes da palavra "everything" ficando assim: Tim Grahl’s book “Running Down a Dream” is a great example of how everything is not as it seems.

Ou em inglês o uso do "how" nesse caso não é necessário?

Obrigado.

It could also be:
Tim Grahl’s book “Running Down a Dream” is a great example of "everything is not as it seems".

Even if the author of the piece doesn´t put it this way we can understand it as such.
Anyway, in haste they can omit it (and other sentences in this way), they just assume the reader would fill the gaps. (like in Portuguese we say "para o bom entendedor um risco se chama Francisco"...) ;-)
There´s a semi colloquial way with the words in English, mainly the American one, so in a writing like in product reviews and other such settings it´s acceptable. With academical texts it wouldn´t be.
