Por quê na frase "I've thought over what you said, and you're right", não há o uso do pronome "it" depois do "thought"?
Muito bom! Como opção, já vi também a expressão "I gave it some thought".

I've thought it over.
I've thought over what you said.
"What you said" é oração subordinada, sendo, neste caso, o termo que o "it" substituiria.

This is what I have always said. (I'm a native speaker.)

Think better of it/(something)
To decide against doing something because one realizes it is not a good idea.
I was going to try to steal the other team's mascot costume, but I thought better of it when I saw the security guard at the entrance.
I'm glad you thought better of dying your hair white. It would not have been a good look for you.

A opção "think better" mencionada precisa de "of it" (think better of it) ou complemento.
Think it over, and let me know in the morning if you want the job.
I need a few days to think it over.
Nos casos acima, think better of it não faz sentido. A expressão think better of it significa mudar de ideia, decidir não fazer.
