Como dizer "Levar caixote" em inglês

Zumstein 1 31 435
Levar caixote - Ser derrubado e jogado por uma onda do mar.
Get pulled under by a wave.

Será que essa onda pode ser de gente também (wave of people), ao pegarmos ônibus, metrô, no meio de muita gente?

Interesting reading I found:

A common perception is that rip currents pull you underwater, but in reality they're roughly horizontal currents that gradually suck you further and further from the beach.

And there's also the situation of being/getting pulled into sea by (usually big) waves. (but then it's a slightly different situation).

With the "human wave" they usually talk about a "crowd" that could surge and push you forward or drive you back depending on the direction (going into the opposite or same direction as you want to go). Or it could hold you back, in which case you would have to push forward.

And also, a good way to express a "tomar/levar um caixote" is "being knocked down/knocked over by a wave".
