Correção de texto traduzido: When Peter completed 25

I would prefer "when Peter reached 20..." (meaning - when Peter reached the age of 20) OR "when Peter became 20" but not completed. It´s me though. It´s the first thing that caught my eye there.

When Peter turned 25, his parents thought it was time for him to learn to drive. All his friends knew how to drive and most of them had a car. Peter never wanted to learn because he didn’t see the point, his parents were always driving him around and he could always get a ride with a friend.
Anyway, his parents are getting tired and overwhelmed with by their tasks, they want him to be more independent and autonomous.

Although he is still having some difficulties with parking, it turns out that he is really doing well, he is a fast learner and soon he will be a good driver.
His teacher is impressed as well as his parents. When he will finally get his driving license, he will be buying his first car by himself/on his own. Everyone is proud of him, including his friends.

I skipped the part of the lesson schedule, because it was a bit ambiguous - as if his father was the driver instructor, so I leave that part to others to edit and improve it. So, consider this just as some editing on the fly.

Se você traduzir diretamente dirigir é 'to drive', então use 'to drive', dirigindo está 'driving'.
