Como dizer "Mais livre" em inglês

Oiiiie, hello everybody!
Bem, estava falando sobre sonhos e conquistas com um colega e queria escrever em inglês uma frase com o sentido de "ser mais livre do que nunca". Quando cheguei nesta parte vi que não sabia a forma comparativa para free, pesquisei em um sites e vi que para este contexto não há uma. Mesmo assim, gostaria de saber se há alguma forma diferente para expressar isso. Desde já obrigada gente.

FREER (é a forma comparativa correta, inclusive para este contexto), mas já vi alguns MORE FREE por aí, sem que isto tenha me causado muita estranheza!

Could be also: "I am more independent than ever" or "I never was so independent". Other words are used, but it could express that too.

Correction to one of the suggestions above. Nunca should be translated as ever. I am freer than ever. I would probably say naturally, I am more free now than I have ever been.
