It could be anywhere since my soulmate is close to me, even on another planet..
Nice question! I'd wake up in California, if I could. Why? California for me is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen (only pics, guys, blah) and heard. There are so many things to take advantage of and as soon as I see my english coming along and good opportunities coming up, I'll pack everything without thinking and go there. Besides, there are nearly 250 sunny days, it's breathtakingly amazing!
I would wake up in sweet home Alabama beside my nieces.
I'd wake up in any of these cities: New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Paris, some village in the French Alps and Sydney (Australia). I like all of these places!
I'd wake up in any place that the language is English. I think I need to improve my English. It's my goal.
Better if the place is beautiful.
Leila

Absolutely, in London! Specificaly at 18 Wellington Road, SW19 8EQ!
I ´d like to wake up in Porto de Galinhas , I felt in love for this place , I ´d like to live there !
This is an easy question for me.

My first choice would be to wake up in Sao Paulo, in the apartment of my step son, and to make Maria Eduarda's (my grandaughter) breakfast, feed her, dress he up in pretty clothes, take her to the Botancial Gardens in Jundiai, and take many photographs of her.

My second choice would be to wake up on the Cabexy II, in the Lagoa Mandiore, have a breakfast of cafe leite, and pao zinho frances com manteiga (in english - coffee with milk, and buttered baby french bread) take my cameras and go looking for wildlife to photograph, maybe a jaguar, or jacare, or jiboia and definitely a jabiru (in english - jaguar, alligator, anaconda, jabiru).

The Cabexy II is a tour boat based in Corumba, MS and the Lagoa Mandiore is a lake on the Paraguay River in the Pantanal, about 90 km north (as the crow flies) of Corumba.

I would like to change the second part of your sentence to read "I fell in love with this place,". Fell is the past tense of fall, and with is the correct preposition to use in this contex.

Otherwise very good.
lol... I'd wake up at home, in my bed...

Anyway, I'll wake up in one bed, but besides of at home,... it could be at a frind's house, or at a hotel... :P

Or exceptionally, you can wake up at home, at your sofa :P

Let me suggest this:

"Anyway, I would wake up in a bed, but instead of at home , it could be at a friends house or at a hotel, or in the alternative you could wake me up at your house, on the sofa."

I hope that makes sense and helps you.

I wanted wake up in a place where people respect each other, a place without crimes and violence, because this way maybe the man could find solutions for social problems in the world.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or morning or crying or pain, for the old older of things, has passed away"
I second felipeh6's vote for Tahiti... I went there once while I was working on a cruise ship, and it's truly one of the most amazing places in the world!!

Vietnam isn't bad either though, I'm traveling here at the moment... and it's a lot cheaper! 10$ a night for a room in a resort (!) with air con, 17Mb/s wireless internet, flat screen TV, queen size bed and private bathroom... right next to the beach. South East Asia is really an amazing place.

This is my first ever flipcam video, first take, uncut. :)

I have actually been traveling the world non-stop for about eleven years now, so if you wanna hit the road, just reply to this thread and let me know if I can help out with some advice. ;)

Hello Frank,

May I ask you how you deal about the matters of limited time you can stay in each country? Most countries don't allow you to stay more than 90 days as a tourist. Do you have a special kind of visa or how do you deal with your passport?

Thanks for your time and attention.

Regards.
I would love to wake up in Alderley Edge, an amazing small village in North West England. Miss it so much...
