A line snakes out (snakes-out).
He has spent many long hours honing his skill...
...for in this grim crusade he has vowed to wage against crime,
Not only does his own life depend on it.

Essa é a narração completa da cena. Mas a minha dúvida é essa expressão "snakes-out". Fiz algumas buscas no Urban Dictionary e saiu isto:
A contentious, disagreeable or dangerous situation eliciting strong emotional reaction.
"I got in an argument with my boss...it was a total snake-out."
"The line at DMV was snaked-out, so we just left."
"They were snaking-out over an accident on the freeway this morning."
Obrigado pela compreensão e atenção.
