Mas a minha maior dúvida é se o some está sendo usado corretamente, afinal existe uma regra que diz que some só é usado em sentenças afirmativas

"Some" is not "peremptory'', final, total, definitive (once and for all) and categorical.
"Any" is all that.

They don´t like any kind of movies. (there is, it´s conclusive, they don´t like "any". No kind, definitely none.)
