Não se preocupe com o dia de amanhã, e alguns também interpretam como viva o dia de hoje (não se preocupando demasiado com o que terá que enfrentar ou fazer amanhã). Viva no momento presente, usuafrua este dia.

Actually there are other versions of this verse (taken from the Bible Hub site):

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (New Living Translation)
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (new American Standard Bible)

It gets easier to understand by those not acquainted with older texts, language evolves and not everyone has studied the old English literature.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (King James Version)

So, in Portuguese the sentence in Italics would mean, "basta a cada dia o seu mal" (basta a cada dia os seus problemas/basta se preocupar com os problemas do dia) - não se preocupar excessivamente sobre o que vem depois e depois...
