Take someone to the woodshed - Tradução em português
Eu estava assistindo a serie "arrow", quando o protagonista falou mais ou menos "second time tonight that a friend of mine has taken me to the woodshed".

OR
"...chamado na would do as well, it may or may not in particular "chamado no canto para conversar/levei um aperto" expresses that as well.
"Fui chamado pras conversas" and "levei uma dura" is also used in certain contexts in that sense.
I think that would fit the description Bryan has come up with. Let´s wait for more comments, though.
In English the imagery is better a little bit, that one goes with you to the woodshed (depósito de lenha para a lareira, que fica fora da casa ou afastado dos outros aposentos) and then someone give you an earful for not doing something, etc. Or still, some kind of reprimand ('a ticking-off' [bronca/advertência] in particular.)
