Perdão, cometi um erro. O que eu digitei anteriormente não é uma frase coerente. São partes de duas frases.
Primeira: A section 20 post mortem has been carried out and histology and toxicology taken to determine the cause of death.

Here, "taken" seems to be alone, but actually what happened was an ellipse of the verb locution "has been"; so, we ought to have the following sentence: "...and histology and toxicology has been taken to determinethe cause of death".
Concerning the second question, according to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, "world-beaten" means "better than all others of the same kind", that is, "melhor que todos os outros do mesmo tipo", litteraly. Personally, I'd translate it into Portuguese as "Ela é uma dádiva musical"; however, in case you want to translate it close to the original, you could say: "Ela é uma dádiva musical a nível mundial" or "Ela é uma dádiva musical mundialmente falando" or many other paraphrases which gave us the same meaning.
