Você roubou a cena (significando "minha cena", usou minha idéia como se fosse sua, e por aí vai...). Também "pegar carona" na idéia que seria de outrem, sem dar os devidos créditos a quem de direito.
Em outro contexto poderia também ofuscar (meio que significando roubar a cena também)

"Stealing somebody's thunder" would have to do with "taking some credit", or doing something before you do (to get recognition or attention).

The businessman always steals his partner’s thunder by using his ideas.
