The sentence just means " A agua escorreu pelo corpo dela", that's it.

"Wash down" means that the water ran through her body in a downward fashion (from top to bottom) while "over" just plays the "pelo(corpo dela)" role, most likely meaning the water ran through her whole body rather than just a specific part of it, it's not rocket science.
