Traduções sem sentido e a Estrutura das Frases

Olá galera, meu primeiro post por aqui! 
Gostaria de ajuda de você em relação a estrutura das frases.
Reparem a seguinte frase:
'That’s what world leaders who are gathering for the start of the World Economic Forum are being told this week.'
A minha tradução seria a seguinte:
Isso é o que os líderes mundiais que estão se reunindo para o começo do Fórum Econômico Mundial está sendo dito esta semana.
Nota-se que minha frase não faz sentido.
A tradução correta seria essa:
Isto é o que está sendo dito a líderes mundiais que se reúnem nesta semana para a abertura do Fórum Econômico Mundial.
Minha dúvida é a seguinte:
O meu problema está na compreensão da estrutura da frase, já estudei sobre o assunto (o famoso SVC, frases com advérbios, frases interrogativas etc) porém é muito comum que minhas traduções fiquem com as palavras em ordem diferente, causando essa falta de sentido.
Queria entender de fato a estrutura das frases, pois só assim terei segurança na hora de traduzi-las.

O meu problema está na compreensão da estrutura da frase, já estudei sobre o assunto (o famoso SVC, frases com advérbios, frases interrogativas etc) porém é muito comum que minhas traduções fiquem com as palavras em ordem diferente, causando essa falta de sentido.
Queria entender de fato a estrutura das frases, pois só assim terei segurança na hora de traduzi-las.

Amigo, penso que a leitura e a compreensão de textos na língua portuguesa de maneira sequencial da esquerda para a direita, dificulta sobremaneira a compreensão e a estruturação de textos na língua inglesa, cuja estrutura gramatical é extremamente "enxuta"!
De fato, nota-se pelas poucas palavras traduzidas aqui, que você possui boa compreensão, e que talvez o segredo para você "estruturar" o Inglês consista apenas em "desestruturar" o Português, ou seja, livrar-se dos "pré conceitos " e das amarras que te prende as regras gramaticais da nossa língua. Frequentemente, é preciso traduzir palavras ou frases do final ou do meio do texto, antes do início, para então contextualiza-lo, interpreta-lo e então compreende-lo como um todo.
Siga em frente e taca-lhe pau !!!

It´s the kind of sentence that you will know the meaning after having read/listened and then it has to sink in (it makes the impression after some time, after the end of it).
Perhaps in the spoken would be understood quicker than in the written form.
English is like this, there are minutes of it that comes with time and training. It sometimes can be tricky, and you are not alone, you/we are in good company.
Just see these threads of another Forum; even upper intermediate/advanced students get puzzled sometimes. In a way that sentences, or paragraphs have to be redone to become comprehensible!

Realmente o 'pensar em português' ainda me atrapalha muito na hora de compreender uma frase em inglês, espero que com o tempo esse problema seja resolvido! Mas sinceramente eu ainda não consegui compreender como 'pensar em inglês'.

I know what you are talking about, how you feel! I really do.
But patience, man, patience...
In fact, it seems like there are some ideas, strategies that can apply to some student and not to the next, learning English it´s almost an art, not science, though it involves scienctific methods.
That is, there´s no way to know how somebody´s pace of learning is set, it´s about experience, individual experience (sort of).
Anyway, some things are valid to most of them, for example learning by using that information you have recently been taught (I tried to avoid the word "taught" but couldn´t help it!)... That is, you have to "internalize" what you have seen/read/experience (yes, learn English must be an experience, not something that you are taught, a teacher should be a tutor, a guide...)
Teacher should have time to see what is happening to their pupils, not just give them lessons and see them repeating things after them, parroting.
Well, I am no teacher or something, this is just an opinion of my own, inspired also in texts/sites like this:

And in my experience with English, but I can tell you that many people would and will agree with me on that one.
English to me, is some kind of "immersion", I solve some crosswords, then go to some textbook or grammar guide, next I listen some radio online, afterwards I watch some sitcom in English, read some novel or newspaper in English, watch some YouTube documentary, clip, or music...and so on and so forth.
English to me, and now I mean to me, is fun and have to be fun, even when the matter is a serious one, I mean even if I am reading The Economist I have to feel like reading it, or else I go to the comic strips Dilbert (or the People -gossip- magazine) and come back when I am in the mood !
But patience, man, patience...

Just use the English you know, in an easygoing way, don´t get so worried about "thinking in English" all the time, that may hamper your attempt to feel relaxed. When you least expect, you will be thinking in English.
Imagine that you are before an audience, several friends in a class, and you have to translate something that´s written on the blackboard, it is "Eu te amo''.
Okay, how much it take to you translate it into "I love you?", milliseconds perhaps! it doesn´t took any effort to "think in English", so the more you get acquainted with the English expressions, the more you feel at easy with them, and with the language in general. You have to keep using that and making it relevant to you, it have to express what you want, to meet your needs.
But then, again, you have to use what you know (or what you think you know), if by trying to express yourself you make mistakes? so what? you learn from them, somebody will point them out. The worst scenario is when you don´t try your hand at it, and nobody knows how you are, you don´t get corrected, doubts don´t come to your mind, you don´t learn.

A sua analogia com o 'Eu te Amo' é muito bacana, faz muito sentido mesmo. Como já tinham dito antes pra mim, se sentir seguro no inglês é um processo natural, o negócio é continuar estudando mesmo.
Minha ansiedade para realizar as coisas as vezes me atrapalha muito, me deixa frustrado em algumas situações.

Que bom que foi útil, algumas vezes é necessário alguém que está "frio", que não está em na situação de pressão (digo, nós colocamos pressão em nós próprios, exigindo de nós mesmos.)
Tentemos não nos comparar com A ou B, mas com nós mesmos. Será que eu vou um dia falar como um nativo? será que um dia vou ter um inglês tão bom como o do Donay? Telma? Thomas? Mary Ziller? ou como meu professor/minha professora? não, não vamos pensar nisso.
A melhor abordagem é pensar "pôxa, quanto progresso eu fiz na última semana! quanta coisa aprendi nos últimos meses/anos! E se aprendi tanto, é sinal que tenho a capacidade, então vou aprender muito mais!
É por aí, meu amigo.
E estudar sempre, pouco ou muito, mas sempre. Deve-se ter uma regularidade, uma persistência, um hábito.
Tentemos não nos comparar com A ou B, mas com nós mesmos. Será que eu vou um dia falar como um nativo? será que um dia vou ter um inglês tão bom como o do Donay? Telma? Thomas? Mary Ziller? ou como meu professor/minha professora? não, não vamos pensar nisso.
