Treat: Como utilizar
Eu havia pesquisado e achei que seria "tratar" (tipo cuidar) em português....Na lição tinha: ....Why don't we treat ourselves to dinner at that restaurant....Usou ex...
What did you treat your father to? I treated him to a T-shirt or I treated to going to the beach.
I treated him to cds.Tb usou: Time Botafogo – What do you treat yourselves to? I treat myself to going to the beach.

To treat to + substantivo (nao um verbo!)
Why don't we treat ourselves to dinner at that restaurant.... OK
What did you treat your father to? OK
I treated him to a T-shirt OK
I treated to going to the beach.
I treated him to cds. OK
What do you treat yourselves to? OK
I treat myself to going to the beach.
I treat myself to a trip to the beach.
I treat myself to a day at the beach.
ou....
I treat myself by going to the beach.

Mandei sem querer esse post. Ainda estava escrevendo. Desculpe!
I treated to going to the beach. - Aqui falta algo (myself? him?) e esta usando o gerundo. "I treated her to an afternoon at the beach." Talvez.... Por que nao "treat to a glass of water"? Custaria menos.

Pessoal,
Complementando,
Treat someone well/badly(Macmillan):Tratar alguém bem/mal
I still think the company treated you very badly.(Macmillan)
They treat me well and I treat them well.(Google)
Boa sorte!
