We all use contractions to simplify our English when we're talking informally. Therefore, here goes a great advise about using contractions.

In English, are contracts to 're. Technically, you can use a contraction wherever you might normally use the full, written out word.

However, you should be very careful when doing this. Contractions are:

Não se usa "advise" como substantivo dessa forma. O adequado é "advice". Porém, não se usa com "a". Uma boa opção é usar "some great advice" no caso.

Errado: ''...here goes a great advise about using contractions.''

Adequado: "...here goes some great advice about using contractions.''

Thanks for your observation! That was a hard to spot concordance. Even speaking that in loud voice did not sounded that awkward. So there goes a great piece of advise...
