Mandate can be used to mean "plan of government," or "policies" someone is elected to fulfill.
Overthrow is another term for coup d'état, and can be used as either a noun or verb.
A state of emergency, during which various legal guarantees are suspended on the basis of a significant danger to the established order, is another term for a state of siege. COMO COMBINAR PALAVRAS EM INGLÊS
I think "deposed" is a good term. Someone can be deposed by various means, some legal (impeachment), some illegal probably (overthrown).
"Cassado" is an interesting Portuguese term, which may involve the legal loss of the right to hold public office, as well as legal removal from office. Or am I misinterpreting the meaning of "cassado"?

Bom como em português impeachment verbo e substantivo em inglês pode ser usado.
Fonte: Merriam Websterimpeachment
: to charge (a public official) with a crime done while in office
: to cause doubts about the truthfulness of (a witness, testimony, etc.)
Another word to deposed could be "ousted", in Portuguese: deposto, afastado, derrubado, expulso (do poder, cargo etc), destituído, deposto.
It has a ring of "to be forced out of the position in wich one is.../be removed from the position, etc", generally by someone with (vested or not) interests in the position or something that have to do it, be the agent of the "ousting" from the country/municipality etc, or not. Sometimes bending some laws or changing them.
Different from "impeachment" that is a formal charge against a public official. So, by legal channels and it´s a domestic "intervention" of sorts.
