Way too x Far too: Qual a diferença?
I already know the use of "way too" but I listened to a song and saw "far too". Is there a difference?
"My hands they were strong
But my knees were far too weak"
"My hands they were strong

That place was way too far! (sem problemas)
That place was far too far! (estranho né? Nunca vi alguém usar desta forma)
That place was way too far! (sem problemas)
That place was far too far! (estranho né? Nunca vi alguém usar desta forma)
Complemento:
"Far too" e "way too" são expressões com o mesmo sentido. "Way too" é, a meu ver, mais informal e mais AmE.
Way too:
- It is an AE way of expressing "far too." My wife says it all the time, "Slow down! You're going way too fast."
- Wordreference

Donay,
Eu vi que way pode ter outras combinações: way difficult, way above, way ahead...

Para modificar difficult, use more difficult.
Bons estudos.
