Hi, Everyone!
Ive seen a video where a someone had said: "What about if...?" Well, I think its meaning, in portuguese, would be: "E se...?".
But is this correct at all? Because I'd always thought of that it was only "What if". Do they mean different things? Are both of them are correct? I'd appreciate your help, fellas!

Dicas:
- "What about if?" é usado em linguagem informal significando ''e se?". A meu ver, menos comum do que "what if?".
- "What about if?" e "what if?" são corretos, porém coloquiais.
- Veja um contexto onde os dois são usados.
If you said: "What if I open a clothing store?" And they replied, "I don't think that would work for you." You might reply, "Well, then, what about if I open a restaurant?'' [Englishforums.com]

Hmm... Very interesting! Thanks again for the reply, Donay. I could understand it better now. But can I replace one for the other? Or just using them as you said?

Você pode substituir um pelo outro. No entanto, "what if"?" me parece uma opção melhor, mais comum, etc.
