Why do u day strike in your country? x Why strick in your country?
Estava conversando com minha amiga alemã por áudios e ela falou a seguinte frase: Why do u day strike in your country?)
Depois de alguns minutos eu entendi que ela quis dizer (Por que greve no seu país?) mas o correto não seria Why strick in your country?
Também não entendi o uso do "Do u day" quem puder me ajudar, agradeço muito.

Nenhuma dessas frases faz sentido. Voce entendeu errado ou ela falou errado. Se ela realmente quis dizer "Por que greve no seu país?" uma forma correta seria: Why is your country on strike?
Perhaps she meant the police strike in Ceara. So, a likely question would be "why do they/the police went on the strike/a strike?" or
"why do they went on strike?" (less specific here, more general in kind).
Other more general question would be: why is there a strike in Brazil/in your country right now? (it would ge a general question, where the asker don´t know the specifics - the state, etc.)
To wedge a "day" factor in it, "why a strike took place in Brazil the other day?" OR "why a strike took place in Brazil the other day/why recently a strike took place...?"
Or still she meant "why do you held a one-day strike in Brazil?", chances are. That happened with VW workers, port unionized workers, etc. Perhaps she - out of curiousity- wanted to know how it works (no pun intended).
