Therefore, as my ESL mind sees or can picture it, a satisfying customer would likely endeavor to satisfy whereas a satisfied customer likely would endeavor to get satisfied.
While a boring student would likely annoy and probably drive off his student companions, a bored student would simply feel annoyed at whatever situation or fact that he or she might have experienced or seen.
If I can resort to a one-line definition, -ing
seeks to give it, -ed
seeks to take it.
