Como dizer "quartel do exercito" em inglês

Hoje me apresentei no quartel do exercito para fazer os testes físicos e medicos e pesquisei no goggle e disse q é "military base", mas não sei se está correto.

Quartel em inglês está mais para barracks.
"This was a bombing again of a U.S. Military barracks, in Saudi Arabia."
E há um erro de digitação na resposta do PPAULO. O correto é headquarter e não heardquarter.
Creio que headquarter está mais para quartel-general, ou seja, local onde se encontram as altas patentes na estrutura de comando.

In addition to the previous information, in the U.S. Related to the army military installations (and somehow, personnel serving there) could be "post" (or in a more general way "unit").
Fort Hood is a United States Army post located near Killeen, Texas.
Sometimes they also might call a big unit (related to personnel, equipments, and buildings) a "base":

There are Army, Air Force, and Navy bases as well.
