I would like take a doubt about expression "world apart".
I see in some songs the artists using the expression "world apart". I searched in the internet, but I don't find anything about this meaning.
Example:

'Rip sth apart' means Rasgar em pedaços,fazer em pedaços. I think 'Tear apart' is a synonym.
Examples:
