One-syllable adjectives: Existem?

No, it doesn´t such a thing as smallen, for example. There are the one-syllable adjective, though. We have to know which to make the comparative of adjectives.
To know how many syllables there are in a word, you can look it up in the Michaelis dictionary: as an example, the word "lovely" has two syllables "love.ly"
"big" is a one-syllable word, there´s no dot in-between in said dictionary when you check it.
