Visiting - Tradução em português

Visitar, diz um(a) escritor(a) da França, forma o cordão umbilical que une a sociedade. E que é tão firmemente ligado que se (essa)a ligação acabasse a sociedade acabaria.

"Visiting" é o sujeito da oração aqui, logo passa a ser verbo. Traduz-se como "visitar".

No livro de etiquetas continua:

If a cerimonious call should never extend over more than fifteen minutes, and it should not be less than fifteen minutes.

Se uma visita formal (em contraste aqui com uma visita informal) não deve se extender por mais de 15 minutos, e não deve ser de menos de 15 minutos. ( não durar menos de 15 minutos).

Yep, "visiting" (visitation - too, but a bit more formal) could be also translated into "visitação". So, "visitação" is fine by me.

One curious thing is that it could either "visitação/visitações" since it´s an abstract word, so the plural is spelled the same way as the singular.

Não seria visitas ou visitação uma melhor tradução?
