Oi pessoal, tudo bem?
Como eu falo em inglês esta expressão: matar na unha.
Por exemplo, o professor ficou matando os alunos na unha antes de postar as notas.

The teacher informed the pupils grades/marks slowly, as if
Secretely deriving pleasure from inflincting 'psychological torture' (...deriving pleasure from seeing their anxiety.
The teacher took ages/took long to tell the grades to the pupils, as if savoring the moment, seeing them hold their breath! [1]
This is a "kick-off", others must come up with terser ways, expressions, etc.
[1] I assume here that he is calling them to a one-to-one, not saying out loud, to the whole class to listen.
Another way would to get a list with the grades, so they would read it.
Other situation would be of teacher doing something slowly (slowly coming to a "notice board" to pin a list with the grades), taking pleasure (secretely maybe?) from seeing the (worry and ) anxiety in their faces.
