Como eu digo, a tesoura está cega, ou a faca está cega em inglês. No sentido de que ela não está cortando direito?

Para dizer "cego" em relação a objetos cortantes, como tesouras, facas, etc. sugiro fazer uso do adjetivo "blunt". Confira os exemplos de uso logo abaixo:

''A tesoura está cega / the scissors are blunt.'' [Michaelis - UOL]
