"I only like to cut my nails with nail clippers." (or trim them with nail clippers - I am on the same page with jlmmelo).
James, the sentence "I like to cut my nails with nail clippers." wouldn't exclude the event that I also like to trim them with nail scissors (and vice versa). I assume that is the answer to your question if I understood you well.
Plus, "nails" is generic, sometimes they specify if it's fingernails or toenails. In this case, "nails" is more all-encompassing (and preferable), though.
If somebody else (a manicure) is going to do the job, then we could say "I like to get my nails cut with clippers." to her, by way of explanation. "Clippers" being a bit colloquial, short for "nail clippers." and "get my nails cut" stablish that somebody else is going to do that for you.
