Keeping it simple, you say which area/department provides or issues the invoice. For example:

Invoice from the accounts department

In very formal Business English, "emitente" is "issuer", for example:

Invoice issuer

or

Issuer of the receipt

But theses terms are not used in day-to-day working conversation. Like in Portuguese, you just ask, for example: "Who sent this invoice?" or say "This receipt was issued by the sales department.".

On the invoice/receipt itself there will be the company´s name at the top. Then the rest of the sale details.
