Conviver = get along?
Is that another meaning to "conviver"?
Just curious.

Henry,
To me, "get along" means "conviver bem".
- He gets along with his co-workers.
From "Thefreedictionary':
Get along (with somebody) (spoken)
= to have a good relationship: My kids and their cousins really get along with each other.

Also: Get along - se dar bem com alguém
I get along with my cousins.
It was instant friendship, I got along with all of my workmates, except that busybody.
Conviver could also be:
-live together, be next-door neighbours;
-live in the same world/place;
-work or live near somebody;
-living in close proximity with somebody (as in: I live in close proximity with loud neighbours - eu convivo com vizinhos barulhentos)
-sharing the same space or room at work or in a travel etc (as in: we shared the same space in a two-day travel to the northeast region)
and others not so directly ways to say the same, as in: "I used to have a downstairs neighbor who played loud music with a huge subwoofer to cover up the sound of all their conversation. They were too secretive."
(Eu convivi com uns vizinhos de baixo [do andar de baixo], que botavam música alta para cobrir o som das conversas. Eles eram muitos misteriosos (no sentido de confidencialidade, sigilo, esconder alguma coisa etc)
