Como dizer "motel" em inglês
How do you say "motel" in English?
I'm asking about the Brazilians motels, not the US ones. I know that "motel" (in English) stands for "motor hotel", which is a small hotel usually located next to roads.
But, what is the English word to our motel?

I know of no special word in the US for a Brazilian-type hotel. In poor areas, there are places called "hot pillows" that charge by the hour, not the night. (The idea is that when you arrive, the pillows are still hot from the last couple.)
You mean "Brazilian-type motel", right?Thomas escreveu:I know of no special word in the US for a Brazilian-type hotel. (...)
It is colloquially known as "no-tell motels".

Oi Tiago,
