Como dizer "precisar" em inglês
Eu tentei na busca, mas não achei..
Tipo, "precisar algo" (OBS: NÃO precisar DE algo)

Precisar = to specify
precisar até o último detalhe = to specify every last detail
Preciso (substantivo) = precise (noum)
So you can also use: to be precise about sth
Hope it helps
Obrigado!
Complementando,
É preciso mais contexto, se não houver, acredito que as respostas da Flávia resumem bem.
Boa sorte!

Another verb similar to "specify" is to "detail". In fact, when we talk about enumerating something precisely, either expession seems to appear frequently:
specify the details
detail the specifics
specify the details
detail the specifics

Does anybody know if that makes sense to say "precisar": "Turn on edge"??
I need to study now.
You need to go to the store.
She needs to repair my computer.
I need a book.
He needs a loan.
They need a quite home in the country.
Claro?

We may need more context. I certainly do!
We can adjust a watch that is not giving the correct time because it is running to fast or two slow. I am not talking about setting the watch to the correct time. I am talking about making minor adjustments that will make it run slower or faster than it is now so that it will operate at the correct speed. The color or contrast on the television set may require adjustment. If your firearm is not hitting the target, possibly you need to adjust the sights.
A coin has three sides. It has a face, a tail, and an edge. If you turn the coin so that it is on neither its head nor its tail, you have turned it on its edge.
To be precise is to be very clear, specific, and direct. People cannot misunderstand you. (If you come home drunk again, I will divorce you. Any questions? Have I been precise enough?) It is also used to mean "to be exactly". (That is precisely/exactly what I said to him yesterday.)
