Descobri essa semana que podemos utilizar o verbo "to fasten" pra isso.
Clips are made to fasten the shelf to the wall. (stltoday.com)

preso/fixado - Well attached/fixed would be fastened.
As in: "a Theater screen fastened to the wall."
You would use drywall anchors, screws, etc, to be well attached (which could only be unhooked by using tools, it get real fixed there!)

As in: A painting hung in the wall/ a framed photo/picture hung in the wall.
