In this globalized world, companies are looking for highly qualified, active and independent professionals, with great communication power. That's the exact reason why professionals who go on an exchange program stand out in the labor market.

Planejamento da carreira e do futuro faz parte da vida de qualquer um. No mercado de trabalho altamente competitivo do mundo de hoje, os que atingem sucesso tem algo em comum: diferencial! Neste mundo globalizado as empresas estão buscando por profissionais altamente qualificados, ativos, independentes e com poder de comunicação. É justamente por esse motivo que o profissional que realiza um intercâmbio de Inglês se destaca no mercado de trabalho.

Planning their/his future career is a part of everyone's life. In today´s highly competitive job market those who succeed have something in common: a competitive differential (could be also – a competitive advantage.)
In such a globalized world, companies are looking for highly qualified professionals, who are active, independents and with great power of communication.
It´s precisely for that reason that someone that have participated of some English exchange programs stand out (and get noticed) from their peers at the work/get ahead of their co-workers at the work.

Nothing “acting funny” with “planning a career or a future” here, but rings more natural to me
“planning a career” and “planning for the future”, or planning your future career (I decided for it, as generally one thinks that a career do changes one´s future), but then it´s a personal opinion.
That is, it´s a matter of (my) style of writing, not a matter of right or wrong then.
That´s more. Planning , by its nature, involves (and changes) future.


In this globalized world – it´s acceptable, but “in a globalized world - or – in the globalized world is more common). “Such” was a bit to emphasis, I think it replaces “mundo globalizado de hoje”. This we don´t need to repeat “today´s world...”
