Ex: I was defeated e I lost
Eu ja vi Win significar vitória no sentido de não ser um verbo no sentido de ganhar e sim no sentido de um substantivo
Então qual seria a diferença entre Win( Quando vira substantivo) e Victory?
Ps: Desculpa se ficou meio longo

Draw and tie are synonyms.

The first word is usual elsewhere whereas the second one, I presume, is more common to North Americans.

Just for curiosity, draw and tie have a two different meanings in cricket, more precisely two possible results of a game.
A tie is the identical result that occurs when each team has scored the same total number of runs after their allotted innings, all innings being completed. It is very rare. A draw is the inconclusive result that occurs when the allotted playing time for the game expires without the teams having completed their innings.

DEFEAT X LOSS

Defeat and loss are nouns. The difference between them is that the first word represents the act of defeating someone or something. Loss is an instance of losing someone or something, which can be considered a defeat, depending on your point of view.

The word defeat is a verb which means to overcome in battle or contest.

WIN X WINNING X VICTORY

Winning and victory are nouns.
They are somewhat synonyms.

Winning represents the act of obtaining something, as in a contest or by competition. A victory is an instance of having won a competition or battle, similar when we win some videogames and, as a confirmation, we heard the narrator says "victory". Basically, when someone says he / she have won something, we deduce they have a gift or prize with them; when someone says he / she have achieved victory, we know they have made references to the fact they have defeated someone or something, however, the prize is uncertain and subjective.

The word winning can be also considered a verb and an adjective.

The word win is a verb.
Teria alguma diferença entre dizer I was Defeated e I lost?

Yes, there is a slightly difference between the sentences I was defeated and I lost.

The first one is crystal clear, but the second one can be interpreted in other way because the verb to lose can be transitive or intransitive.

When used to explain you were defeated, you failed to win a competition, a court case, an argument, the verb to lose is intransitive, in other words, the complement is not necessary.

However, when we need to explain what we have lost, who were responsible for the defeat, or how we were defeated / how we lost, the verb to lose is transitive.

To lose something to somebody = Ex.: I lost the game to you.
To lose something by something = Ex.: I lost by less than 100 votes.

It´s the Zumsteim expertise, but here´s my two cent´s worth just the same. Just for contribution´s sake.

In soccer and football there is also the concept of a draw (given a pair of teams playing, the two having the same score - it´s a draw, or a tie if you wish).

So, in the championship, let´s say a draw would mean 1 point to each team, a win equal to 3, and a loss would get 0 points for the loser team. Let´s say the points tally are the same in that given championship, then there would be a tie (not a draw that is related to matches).
To break the tie, we would use the goals difference (GD), then goals scored "away goals" ("fora de casa") and "home goals" ("gols em casa").

In a nutshell here, but Zumsteim would give a more accurate description, of course.
I tried to focus more on the draw/tie difference, in sports.

Só uma dica: draw/tie (empate) muitos usam draw com o jogo terminado e tie com o jogo em andamento.

É só.

Thanks Zumsteim, yours are always insightful answers and great comments, you are a guy that keeps the eye on the ball, and isn´t just the luck of the draw! See I am getting the bug of soccer and sports. :-)
