Hello! Eu gostaria de saber como se diz "Eles tem que trabalhar rápido porque eles precisam economizar o tempo na 1ªrodada e 2ª rodada para terem bastante tempo para produzir um bolo na 3ªrodada. Ah, na 1ª rodada as equipes de confeiteiros vão fazer cupcakes e na 2ª rodada: doces." em inglês.

They have to work fast because they have to make time to the second batch (of cake).
OR, your explanation of the context was a bit ambiguous, so another situation:
They have to work fast and take time from the first and second batches to make a cake (in between).
