Exercício: Relative Clauses
Olá pessoal,
Eu estava a fazer um exercício em que temos de reescrever as frases e utilizar as relative clauses, mas então eu me apercebi de que não sabia o significado de todas as relative clauses, alguém me pode ajudar?
Eu já fiz três, alguém pode corrigir?
1. The speech aroused strong opposition. The Prime Minister made it.
The speech which was made by the prime minister aroused strong opposition.
2. Inflation is sure to accelerate. It raised 9.8 % a year.
Inflation that raised 9.8% a year is sure to accelerate.
3. Let me introduce you to Mr Jones. I have placed the matter in his hands.
Let me introduce you to whom I have placed the matter in his hands, Mr Jones.
