Bem, estou encontrar uma tradução melhor para a expressão "is down" neste contexto:
É um trecho da múcica Carry You Home, do James Blunt.
Trouble is her only friend and he's back again.
Makes her body older than it really is.
She says it's high time she went away,
No one's got much to say in this town.
Trouble is the only way is down.
Down, down.

I´d say that "trouble is the only way down" means something like:Os problemas são o único caminho pra lá"...It doesn´t make sense...they just used for the rhymes!
