O que significa "You're putting me off"?

Put off, most of the time has that meaning.
Sometimes, it can also be used in the sense of "desencorajando (às vezes, quase um "está me assustando"), geralmente falado quando alguém falou de algum evento que tem alguma dificuldade envolvida, etc. Ou ainda desencorajando no sentido ''fazer perder o interesse", "a vontade de querer" algo.

Some examples:

Damn it you are putting me off with your greatness...
Caraca! Você me faz perder qualquer interesse (de conversar, de namorar, de ser amigo etc) com sua (mania de) grandeza.

...even 30kg of Eden 80/20 working dog food is cheaper than yours at 98.00 delivered? I would have considered your fish recipe if chicken and egg free but you are putting me off now. I shall wait to see the price and compare And I am sure once it is updated you may reconsider your opinion.
(vocês está me fazendo desistir - ou quase desistir) já estou pensando em reconsiderar minha decisão de comprar...
...tá me fazendo pensar/achar que é má idéia (...fazer o que eu estava pensando).
