Since I've watched or I watched?
Olá pessoal, me deparei com essa dúvida entre present perfect e simple present.
Se eu quiser dizer que já faz algum tempo que eu NÃO faço mais tal atividade eu deveria terminar a frase como ?
Exemplo:
It's been a long time since I've watched your videos
Ou
It's been a long time since I watched your videos
No exemplo acima quero dizer que já faz muito tempo que não assisto aos vídeos de determinada pessoa. Qual seria a forma correta de terminar a frase para passar essa informação ? Present perfect ou simple present ?
Desde já agradeço

Corrigindo eu quis dizer simple past ao invés de simple present rsrs
Present Perfect (correto)
> It has been a long time since I've watched your videos.
> I have not watched his/your videos for/since a long time ago.
> It has been a long time since I've watched your videos.
> I have not watched his/your videos for/since a long time ago.
It has been a long time since I've watched your videos.
Could also be written:
It´s been a long time since I've watched your videos.
It has been a long time since I have watched your videos.
Since it was abbreviated on the second auxiliary verb it could normally be used the contracted form in the first as well.
And conversely, the same goes with the second sentence I have rewritten.
Not that the initial sentence is wrong or can´t be used, it´s only to point out that the learner has a variety of grammatical choices there.
