Bad smell would be "bad odor" (also known as B.O.), when we sweat, with time it's said that we develop a bad odor.
Anyway, sometimes they are used with the same meaning: fetid/malodorous, putrid.
Stink is something that have a strong bad smell (think of a wet dog, sewer in a hot day, rotten food, smoking, etc. Stink would be a foul, even offensive odor, like the synonyms show: fishy/mouldy/wouldy, etc.
Anyway, none of them are pleasant, it's a matter of gradation, sort of.
