I found something similar:
Sometimes when I hear my voice on tape, I'm like, "Who is that horrible man?
Algumas vezes quando eu ouço minha voz gravada, eu penso/'eu fico tipo' "quem é esse cara (com essa voz) horrível?".
And from a novel (book)
Everybody was like, “Yeah! Yeah!” I was like, “Who is that?”.

Context speaks volumes!
"Yeah yeah" meaning some kind of cheering, I can think of fan at a show, making a roar. So, "yeah yeah" in a day to day conversation could be "oba oba".
But, as a way of cheering up your singing idol it could be a number of different expressions. I would say it´s hard to translate (it varies), so I leave to other members of the forum.
