Na verdade, vc também precisa traduzir o verbo.
It's like i'm in flight - É como se eu estivesse voando (voando ??!)
p.s.: esse 'in flight' me pareceu bem esquisito, eu usaria "It's like I were flying", mas é da música do Eminem, né? Ele deve ter usado assim (in flight) pra rimar com o 'right' do verso anterior.

Flávia, it could also be a double-meaning.
Flight = voando, fugando
If he means "voando", then I agree 100% that it sounds stilted, formal, and unnatural.
"It's like" is not always contrary-to-fact, as you know. Sometimes it's just a way to start a sentence in colloquial English. It adds NOTING to the sentence. Just wasted breath, in my opinion.
"It's like, she's going to New Zealand to work in Christchurch for a year."
"It's like, she never listens to me."
"It's like, he's working too hard on the project and not spending enough time with his kids."

Yes, Thomas. what I meant is that if he intends to translate it to Pt, he must also translate the verb
It is like = (isto) é como se (the subject can be ommited, but the verb can't)
